Safari Motel owner operators, Di and Tom Power would like to welcome all visitors to NZ, and wish them great times as they travel our beautiful country.

There are a number of great restaurants and Cafes in Taihape. garden visits, trout fishing, Did you know Rangitikei rivers trout fishing is world class? Golf, snow skiing, army museum, bungy jumping, flying fox (new attraction) and gumboot throwing!

Do you want to go horse riding? Arrive by train? We will pick you up from the Taihape railway station.

Come by nakedbus which stops just opposite the Safari Motel or Intercity buses.

Play a round of golf, or 2 or 3? Rangitira is 20 minutes south $25 green fee. Three levels that overlook the majestic Rangitikei river cliffs Taihape  is 5 minutes north $15 green fee, and Waiouru is 20 minutes north.

Would you like to ride our bike trails, We will drop you at stage one beginning in Utiku.
